Wow, that is awesome. Did you use a photo tent, and if not, how did you eliminate any shadows? This is how I want my ceramics photos to turn out, without other things to distract the viewer.

This particular shot has an even simpler lighting setup; the main light comes from below. The bottles and stand are on a light table at work. The table itself is designed for viewing slides and negatives but it has other applications as well. Glass can be very hard to light, along with the general category of "shiny round things".

A photo tent of some sort would likely help you out. If you can't find one (or can't afford one, sometimes they are very pricey) you can often make do with a bunch of white foam-board. It's very versatile, it can be used as a platform to set pieces on as well as acting as reflectors and the like. Depending on the angle, you might also need a paper "sweep" to prevent join lines between backdrop and base.

The deal I had with the person to photograph my pots fell through, so I am going to attempt to photograph some pieces in the near future, using what I have on hand.
