Hi! Sorry for the delay in response, I've been mostly offline for a bit. I'm still looking to do some collaborative work as I've been lacking the spark to go ahead on my own lately. We might be able to work something out thematically even if it's not a hands-on effort.

Aside from posting them here, I do a few other things with my photos. I've had one solo art show and participated in a number of group shows. I usually have a few pieces up in the facility I rent studio space from so there's generally something on display at all times. I'm looking to do another show once I have a concept somewhat ready to go in my head, but it's taking a while to make that happen again.

Offline is good :) I'd be up for collaboration to give myself a bit of motivation - I've hardly had time to pick up the camera for the past couple of years, and I've always had problems moving outside my comfort zone of landscapes and plant details (I'm liking your two recently posted shots of people - I just don't *get* people, however you want to interpret the concept!). I think we could work thematically, especially if we're both motivated to push forward new ideas between us.

People are a lot more challenging for me too, but also often a lot more rewarding. I still struggle a little with posing/studio shots, but I love doing more candid work.

We could start off easy, something within our comfort zones. Perhaps a comparison of different architectural details in our respective cities. Each of us could do a study on bridges, say, or murals, or some other similar-but-different aspect of our surroundings.

Heheh - slow stretching of comfort zones would be a good start. And architectural details seem to be a thing we are both into. Where are you based? I'd be keen on doing the similar-but-different thing just from personal interest.

I struggle a lot with posed shots - so much so that I just don't bother. Having the kid is good for pushing me into more candid shots though - I'm much more likely to just pick up the camera and shoot.
